Kirkland Triathlon

Fantastic job at the Kirkland Spring on Saturday, September 17, as Luke, Greg, Jess and John all took fourth in their respective Age Groups.  Jess has a strong race going and was in contention with the Elite Females when she took a spill near the end of the bike course.  More photos here.

Congratulations to Greg Taylor and James Upchurch for winning their respective Age Groups, and taking 3rd and 4th overall at the Sept 10 Cottage Grove Triathlon!  Also, congratulations to Manlio Vecchiet, LaVonne Finnerud and John Marquis for some fantastic results on Saturday.  Manlio won his AG at the Aluminum Man Olympic tri, LaVonne took second AG at the Lake Stevens sprint, and John took 4th in his AG at the Lake Stevens Olympic.

Congratulations Jess Pollak for winning the Lake Meridian Sprint Triathlon!   Also, great job John Marquis for his 3rd place AG finish at the Lake Sammamish Sprint triathlon. 

... and a big WOOHOO! to Greg Taylor for his second place, sprint finish, at the Beaver Lake Triathlon.  He went out in the elite wave, finishing 15th overall with a time of 1:17:47.  Greg is now three for three on finishing second in his AG in sprint tris this season.  Way to bring home the hardware Greg!
