Big team congratulations to Kirsten Purdy, who ran a great race at the Honu Half Ironman in Kona on Saturday, May 31. Kirsten finished with a 5:33 on a very difficult (HOT!) day, placing her 17/72 in her Age Group. She has been working hard on her cycling and it has really paid off. (LEFT)
Also a huge shout out to Jill's friend, Rhae Christie-Shaw, who set a course record on the bike, finished 3rd overall, and won her AG with a smoking time of 4:46. Rhea will be a guest speaker at the next team meeting in June at Sammamish Valley Cycle. Here is Rhae, at mile 13.09, looking like she's just starting the run! (RIGHT)
