Bringing it to the Lake Meridian Swim
Jess took first place in the 2.4 mile wetsuit swim with a time of 1:05:21 on August 7. Jess won this same event on July 12. Jess, are you ready for Ironman Canada?
IMC Training Camp, 2009
Nine athletes joined Jill for a three and a half day training camp in Penticton, BC. The group experienced the full gamut of weather conditions, arriving Wednesday evening in 104 degree heat. The next day a thunderstorm blew through during a ride on the bike course, dropping the temperature to 60 degrees. Fun in the sun for Team JFT2 at the Whisky Dick Triathlon!
LaVonne all brought home some hardware from the challenging Whisky Dick Olympic distance race in Vantage/Ellensberg on Sunday, August 8. LaVonne and Rachel both placed third in their AG, while Anna took second place. Steve, John and Mark also all raced will and finished strong at this event. Great showing Team JFT2!
